About George Hetson, DMD
After receiving his undergraduate degree with honors from Tufts University in 1973 and his Masters of Science in 1974, Dr. George Hetson graduated from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 1983. He completed his general practice residency at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn, New York and was a Fellow in Implants & Biomaterials. Dr. Hetson has proudly served the Kent community for more than 25 years and is honored to have gained the trust of so many of his neighbors. Highly regarded in his field, Dr. Hetson has published articles for the Journal of Dental Research, the Journal of Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine and Oral Pathology, the Journal of Chemical Communications, and the American Paint Journal. Dr. Hetson is on the active staff of the New Milford Hospital and is a member of the American Academy of Osseointegration, The Bates Honor Society, and The Robert R. Andrews Honor Society. When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Hetson enjoys golf, woodworking and riding his bicycle.
