About Gary J. Vicik, MD
Dr.Vicik has practiced in Belleville since 1975 as Dermassociates, LTD. Through the years he has seen many changes in the delivery of healthcare. Inspite of the pressures by government insurance and the pharmaceutical industry, he remains committed to a patient first approach. He wants each patient to have a positive experience at every visit. Dr. Vicik graduated with a degree in medicine at St. Louis University, internship and residency with the Airforce at Wilford Hall USAF Medical Center in San Antonio, Texas. On completion of training, he was Chief of Dermatology at Scott AFB here in Illinois. In 1975, he opened a private practice, Dermassociates, on Main Street in Belleville. Besides Medical and Surgical Dermatology, he has participated in various clinical trials of new medications for FDA approval. For the past eight years the practice has expanded to include cosmetic dermatology under the DermaLuxe name and has an extremely talented staff for this practice. As of September 2017, the cosmetic practice has expanded to downtown Kirkwood under the name Luxe Looks Derm Aesthetics.
