About Gaetano A. Zanelli, MD
Dr. Zanelli is a Dermatologist & Dermatologic Surgeon certified by the American Board of Dermatology. He specializes in Aesthetic, Medical, & Surgical Dermatology and has been named one of “America’s Top Dermatologists” by the 2009 and 2011 Guide to America’s Top Dermatologists written by the Consumers Research Council of America. Gaetano (Guy) Zanelli received his Doctor of Medicine degree with highest honors from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia, and has been in Dermatology practice in the San Francisco Bay Area since 1995. He served as chief resident in dermatology at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, and completed his internship in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Melanoma at the University of California, San Francisco. Dr. Zanelli holds a teaching appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at the University of California, San Francisco, where his activities include teaching diagnosis and treatment of skin disease to residents and medical students. He recently served as the Bay Area California State Chariman for the Dermatology Foundation Leaders’ Society.
