About Frederick N. Lukash, MD, FAAP, FACS
Dr. Frederick N. Lukash has consistently been voted one of “America’s Top Doctors,” by the Castle Connolly guide, and by the Consumer Research Council of America. Dr. Lukash is a board-certified cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgeon who has been in practice since 1981. He joined Long Island Plastic Surgical Group as a senior associate in 2013. Currently Dr. Lukash is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Surgery at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and the Hofstra University School of Medicine. Dr. Lukash received his college and medical degrees from Tulane University. His postgraduate training in surgery and plastic surgery includes Emory University, State University of New York, and Harvard University, where he held the position of Instructor in surgery. He is an active member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, the American Association of Pediatric Plastic Surgeons and the prestigious American Association of Plastic Surgeons. Dr. Lukash is also a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and the American Academy of Pediatrics.
