About Fred Ghali, MD

Dr. Ghali has practiced Pediatric Dermatology for over 15 years. In 2001, Dr. Ghali founded Pediatric Dermatology of North Texas, PA, a private practice clinic providing dermatologic care exclusively for pediatric and adolescent patients. In 2014, Dr. Ghali expanded the practice to include a Frisco location. Currently, Dr. Ghali serves as Clinical Assistant Professor of Dermatology at both UT Southwestern Medical School in Dallas as well as Baylor Medical Dept. of Dermatology in Dallas. He invests much of his time educating dermatology residents in Pediatric Dermatology. Dr. Ghali is board-certified in Pediatric Dermatology, General Pediatrics, and General Dermatology. He is an active fellow in both the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Academy of Pediatrics. Prior to starting his own private practice, Dr. Ghali served as a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Dermatology at the UT Medical School (Houston), as well as Chief of Pediatric Dermatology at Cook Children's Medical Center, Ft. Worth. Over the last 15 years, Dr. Ghali has been a frequently invited speaker at local, state, and national CME-accredited conferences. He remains very involved in the Society for Pediatric Dermatology and has previously served in multiple positions including the Section of Dermatology with the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Board of Dermatology, Pediatric Dermatology Section. Dr. Ghali participates in research opportunities and exploring new advances and breakthroughs in Pediatric Dermatology. He is an author of over 30 publications in peer-related journals involving Pediatrics and Dermatology. Additionally, he serves as a reviewer for many dermatology journals, including Pediatric Dermatology and the Journal of the American Academy of Dermatology. Dr. Ghali enjoys taking care of his patients and strives to build a trusting relationship with each and every family. Like every father, he strives to balance his faith, his family, and his work. He loves spending time with his wife and two sons. In his leisure, he enjoys both playing and watching a multitude of sports, particularly basketball and golf, and participating in local church activities.
