About Francisca Kartono, DO
Dr. Francisca Kartono, D.O., is a board-certified dermatologist and joined our group in December 2012. Dr. Kartono graduated with honors from UCLA with a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry. She received her osteopathic medical school training from Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. She then made her big move to Michigan and completed her internship at Henry Ford Hospital and her dermatology residency training at Botsford and Pontiac Osteopathic Hospitals through Michigan State University. After completing her dermatology residency, she subsequently pursued a fellowship at the Ohio State University Medical Center with a focus on cutaneous lymphoma. Prior to joining our practice, Dr. Kartono served as assistant clinical professor in Dermatology at the Wexner Ohio State University Medical Center. Dr. Kartono has numerous dermatology publications, lectured at national meetings, and was involved with clinical trials in psoriasis, hidradenitis suppurativa, and lupus. Dr. Kartono enjoys treating various general medical and surgical dermatology concerns, as well as administering phototherapy treatments for her patients. Dr. Kartono lives in Canton with her husband and has made Michigan her permanent home. She would be happy to see you in our Canton and Brighton locations.
