About Florencia Anatelli, MD
Dr. Florencia Anatelli joins Southwest Skin Specialists, a division of U.S. Dermatology Partners, as a dermatopathologist. Dr. Anatelli earned her Medical Degree from the National University of Rosario, Argentina. Her post-graduate training includes a residency in Anatomic Pathology at Washington University School of Medicine/Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO and a fellowship in Dermatopathology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. Dr. Anatelli completed a research fellowship at Wellman Center for Photomedicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Prior to coming to Arizona, Dr. Anatelli worked in private practice in the Washington DC Metropolitan area, where she provided leadership, community service, and education. She holds an appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor of Pathology and of Pediatrics at The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences. She currently serves as the President of the Washington DC Dermatological Society. Based at our U.S. Dermatology Partners Pathology Laboratory in Scottsdale, Arizona, Dr. Anatelli provides services to all of our clinics in the Southwest Region. Dr. Anatelli’s areas of interest include atypical melanocytic neoplasms, non-melanocytic neoplasms, inflammatory dermatoses, and pediatric dermatopathology.
