About Fabio A. Castro, MD
Having received his M.D. degree in Bogota, Columbia in 1975, Dr. Castro completed a general surgery residency in 1979 and went on to complete a fellowship in Plastic Surgery at the University of California, San Diego. At the University of California he served as a clinical instructor at the plastic surgery department of USC, San Diego for nine years and has presented/published many clinical plastic surgery papers. Dr. Castro's expertise has been requested by fellow plastic surgeons, anesthesiologists, registered nurses, and multiple experienced cosmetic surgery specialists to enhance their personal appearance.
