About Ernest G. Layton, MD
As a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in Houston and Kerrville, Texas, patient care, safety and satisfaction are my top priorities, which is why I am always perfecting existing techniques and am at the forefront of learning and teaching new technology. With over 25 years of experience, I have been able to develop, refine and perfect the procedures I perform to achieve the excellent results expected by my patients. The goal of every surgery performed is complete perfection. I appreciate and respect that each patient is unique and therefore the possibilities and limitations are not the same for everyone. During each consultation, I spend the time necessary to truly understand my patient’s desires. It is my goal to make sure that each patient is well informed regarding all available options and I attempt to explain every detail a planned procedure. I truly believe that the honesty and integrity of myself and my team are what keeps our patients coming back and providing referrals. Dr. Layton has been recognized by dozens of publications and has received many awards, including being selected as America’s Top Surgeons, 10 Best Plastic Surgeons, Top Doctors (as chosen by peers and readers), Houston Top Plastic Surgeons and H Texas Top Doctors. In addition, Dr. Layton has been reflected as an innovative expert in the aesthetic industry on television programs and also serves as an advisor, trainer and speaker for several innovative medical technology and cosmetic device companies. Dr. Layton is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and a member of the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. He also retains a membership in local and state medical societies and has privileges at several hospitals and surgery centers. Dr. Layton is a graduate of Texas A&M University and Texas A&M University College of Medicine. Dr. Layton also completed an internship and three years of general surgery residency at the University of Texas Houston Medical Center, micro-surgery fellowship at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Houston and two-year residency specializing in plastic surgery. Dr. Layton completed his medical training with a plastic surgery residency at the University of Texas Houston Medical Center.
