About Erica L. Muller, MD
Dr. Erica Muller is a board-certified dermatologist and graduate of Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She attended The University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and was selected in her junior year to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society prior to graduating as her class salutatorian in 2000. She returned home to Austin to complete her internship at Brackenridge Hospital and then completed residency training in Dermatology at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. During residency, Dr. Muller served as Chief Dermatology Resident and presented at numerous national and international meetings. Following residency training, she joined her husband in Charleston, SC, where he was stationed as a US Navy medical officer. For three years, she practiced in a busy community-based, general and pediatric dermatology group. Dr. Muller joins North Dallas Dermatology Associates following her return to Texas and one-year of private practice in Plano. Dr. Muller interests include general, adolescent and surgical dermatology, including skin cancer excision and flap/graft repair. Her experience in cosmetic procedures includes Botox, Restylane, Sculptra, Thermage, Peels, Microdermabrasion, Laser Hair Removal, IPL/Nd-YAG, and Blue Light. My practice philosophy is focused on building long term relationships with my patients and their families and delivering high-quality personalized care. I enjoy treating children and adults of all ages. My particular interests are general dermatology including skin cancer surveillance with a particular interest in surgical dermatology. I believe in educating my patients on how to take care of their skin to keep it looking youthful for a lifetime and to prevent skin cancer. The relationships that I have with my patients drives my practice and is a motivator to give the best possible care available. I love my patients and I love being involved in their lives My husband and I lived in Charleston, South Carolina for three years while he was serving as a medical officer in the U.S. Navy. When it was time to return home to Texas for him to do his residency we sought dermatology job advice from his brother who trained at UTSW. He said that I had to call his friend Mary Hurley because she was wonderful and highly recommended. I came to Texas to meet with her and everything just fell into place. NDDA is a group of physicians that are bright, caring, and extremely talented. I feel so lucky every day to work with these incredible women.
