It started with teen acne. Every morning I caked on a thick layer of foundation to cover the redness and bumps. I could not figure out how to get pretty skin, and all the girls with pretty skin seemed to be born with it. One morning, while we vacationed in Santa Barbara, my mom found an ad in a local paper for an esthetician and booked me an appointment. For months, she'd drive me 2 hours every weekend for skin treatments. And just like that I had started my skin care journey. After strict home care regimens and lifestyle changes, I finally had the clear beautiful skin I always wanted. Fast forward to being a young woman in my 30's with a passion for all thing’s skincare and various admin jobs I decided to seek getting my license in one of the most rewarding careers ever and become an esthetician. After a couple years working in a boutique spa in San Diego, where I learned to perfect my brazilian waxing skills, I pursued my dream and opened Apotheke Skin Studio in 2015. I enjoy passing on my endless knowledge and passion for skin care along with cutting edge treatments to women and men, yes men need skincare too, to help them find confidence and love the skin they’re in. When I am not creating the perfect skin cocktail you can find me doing something outdoors or watching supercross with my husband and our dog. My day doesn't start until I've had a cup of coffee and my week doesn’t end without a glass of wine. I love music and enjoy a good 90’s hip hop dance party in the living room with my girlfriends.
