About Erica K. Cummings, DDS
Erica K. Cummings, DDS, FAGD, is a board-certified general and cosmetic dentist crafting gorgeous smiles throughout The Woodlands, Texas, community. She currently owns and operates Sterling Ridge Cosmetic & Family Dentistry. With 13 years of experience as a dentist, Dr. Cummings is proud to own a practice that treats its patients like family. After Dr. Cummings earned her undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University, she earned her dental surgery doctorate at the University of Texas Dental Branch in Houston, Texas, graduating in 2006. She later completed her one-year general residency at St. Luke’s Hospital in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. For the next two years, Dr. Cummings worked with a cosmetic practice as well as a pediatric dental practice. Both of these experiences helped shape her methods for treating both children and adults. At Sterling Ridge Cosmetic & Family Dentistry, Dr. Cummings and her dental team have created a safe space for children and adults alike, furnishing the office with relaxing heat and massage chairs for busy adults, noise reduction sets, and Xbox consoles for their pediatric patients. Dr. Cummings even offers sedation dentistry for patients who feel uneasy about visiting the dentist. At Sterling Ridge Cosmetic & Family Dentistry, comfort, safety, and state-of-the-art treatment is the team’s top priority. Above all else, Dr. Cummings and her team want their patients to feel like family. That’s why everybody on the team lives around The Woodlands area, making it a point to reside in the community in which they serve. Dr. Cummings and her team love seeing their patients around town and are always looking for new ways to give back through community service. In 2015, Dr. Cummings and her assistant traveled with a team of medical and dental professionals to Guatemala to serve the indigenous Mayans. Dedicated to serving her patients with the latest dental techniques and advanced treatments, Dr. Cummings is currently working toward obtaining her Mastership Award by attending comprehensive continuing education workshops and lectures. Only 2% of dentists in the US are awarded their mastership in AGD. When she is not seeing patients at her office, Dr. Cummings can be found spending time with her family around their community.
