About Erica Bockhorst, DDS
Dr. Erica Bockhorst grew up in Loveland, Ohio, a suburb of Cincinnati. She attended Miami University in Oxford, OH, where she earned her bachelor’s degree. She then attended The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and graduated in May of 2018 with her dental degree. During her time at OSU, she participated in their General Practice Residency program and had the opportunity to become a certified Invisalign® provider. She also volunteered with Give Kids a Smile and was President of Smiles for Schools, which educates children about oral hygiene and provides them with dental care. Growing up, Dr. Bockhorst always dreamed of a career in the healthcare field. In high school, she shadowed a dentist and fell in love with the dental field. That’s when she decided to become a dentist herself. Through dentistry, Dr. Bockhorst can have a big impact on her patients’ lives by alleviating their pain and increasing their confidence. She enjoys the hands-on aspect of dentistry and forming close doctor-patient relationships. When she’s not in the office, Dr. Bockhorst enjoys playing sand volleyball, hanging out with her friends, and going to the beach. She has one brother and one sister, and she enjoys spending time with them and her parents as often as she can.
