About Eric Weisberg, MD

Eric Weisberg, M.D.: Born in Dallas, Texas, Dr. Weisberg grew up attending Greenhill preparatory school in Addison, Texas. He was a two time captain of the varsity soccer team and co-MVP his senior year. Accepted at several top universities, Dr. Weisberg chose Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia due to their strength in pre-medicine courses. After completing his degree in economics and finishing his pre-med requirements, Dr. Weisberg chose to stay at Emory University School of Medicine and received his degree in medicine in 2003. The next year, he joined the prestigious dermatology department at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. His professional interests are wide and varied but include skin cancer, cosmetic evaluation and procedures, as well as advancing treatments in dermatology and improving customer service within the medical field. He regularly attends local, regional and national dermatology conferences to learn and perfect the most recent techniques. He is a well-known dermatologist who maintains an excellent reputation. Dr. Weisberg has held the Vice-President position for the Dallas Dermatological Society and is the current 2014 President of the society, which has a dual mission of providing continuing medical education to the dermatology community and giving back to the community through service. Dr. Eric Weisberg is married to Eleise LaPorta Weisberg, M.D., a board certified pediatrician currently working at Pediatric After Hours in Plano, Texas.
