About Emily M. Emerson, Aesthetician Specialist
Emily Emerson is a professionally trained MUA and licensed esthetician. Emily started school to be a Medical Examiner but later decided to follow her true passion into makeup and esthetics. She spent 2 years at a special effects and makeup school in Pittsburgh, PA where she met makeup idols and honed her makeup skills. After graduating, Emily moved back to her hometown of Louisville, KY where she took over the bridal makeup scene. She has since worked on films, photo shoots, the Nashville Ballet productions, Nashville Symphony Board, Nashville Junior League, Galas, runway shows and got heavily involved in bridal and event makeup. Emily loves this industry because she never gets bored. She is a career student and is always learning new information and techniques to bring to her clients. She has carried over a lot of her knowledge and habits from working in surgery to ensure a clean and safe environment for her clients. Emily loves being able to help her clients decompress and feel more confident. Emily specializes in eyelash extensions, makeup, private or group makeup lessons, facials, dermaplaning, lash lifts, lash/brow tinting, microneedling, scalp camouflage,micro/hydradermabrasion, chemical peels, and most recently added microblading to her service list. Emily’s free time is spent going on adventures with her boyfriend, doing something creative, spending time with her pets, or having her feet in the sand.
