About Emile N. Brown, MD

As a Baltimore native, board-certified plastic surgeon Dr. Emile N. Brown is dedicated to providing high-quality cosmetic procedures to men and women in Baltimore and the surrounding areas. Dr. Brown earned his Bachelor’s degree from Duke University. From there, he entered medical school at the University of Maryland, where he graduated first in his medical school class. Dr. Brown’s parents greatly influenced his decision to pursue cosmetic surgery. As a local pediatrician, his father was crucial in helping him develop a passion for medicine. At the same time, his mother, who is an artist, spurred in him a passion for creating aesthetically pleasing works of art. He went on to complete plastic surgery residency training at JOHNS HOPKINS HOSPITAL. This citywide program allowed him to receive further training at other renowned area hospitals, including the CURTIS NATIONAL HAND CENTER, R. ADAMS COWLEY SHOCK TRAUMA CENTER and UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND MEDICAL CENTER. Dr. Brown went on to train at HARVARD, where he spent a year focusing exclusively on aesthetic plastic surgery. It was during his time at Harvard that he honed his skills in cosmetic procedures for the face, breast, and body. Dr. Brown has a passion for advancing the field of plastic surgery. He has published more than 30 peer-reviewed journal articles and textbook chapters and presented his research at numerous national and international plastic surgery meetings. He also volunteers his time to teach cosmetic surgery to the residents at JOHNS HOPKINS. Dr. Brown’s unique skill set and training make him the perfect choice for Baltimore area patients who would like to improve certain areas of their face, breast or body.
