About Eleni N. Pertesis, Aesthetician Specialist

Started her esthetic journey and career far before she even knew it would take place. From a young age, she experienced the difficulties of having acne prone skin. She starting looking to find solutions and answers on her own personally, through trial and error, and then seeking and undergoing professional skin care treatments. She absorbed all information, listened closely, and grew very fond of skin care and what a significant impact it made in her life. Lastly, as her passion grew for skin care, spas, beauty, and wellness, it led her the path to an advanced education in Medical Esthetics. Eleni trained at The Catherine Hinds Institute of Esthetics in Woburn, Massachusetts. The Institute is accredited by ACCSC, the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Technology. She studied and graduated from the Institute in Basic Esthetics, Advanced Esthetics, Spa Therapy, Business Management, and with an emphasis in Medical Esthetics, now called Master Esthetics. Eleni is grateful for the solid foundation in education that the Institute gave her to which began her career, and most importantly making a positive change in people's lives. She has worked with numerous skin care products and companies, mastering not only natural, botanical and organic but clinical and medical grade skin care. She is trained in a blend of European and American influenced techniques. She has come to be a very well-rounded professional in the industry and enjoys every minute of it. She has been a leader in the skin care/spa industry ranging from day spas, resort spas, med spas, and lastly cosmetic surgery. 18 years later, she still strives on continuing education, state of the art technology, the science & background in esthetics. Not only does she focus on topical treatments to repair and renew the skin, she promotes well being. She encourages and educates her clients to live a healthy lifestyle, proper nutrition and to de-stress. All combined are significant to enhance one's skin health. She feels she can relate and identify through her own personal experiences, knowledge and compassion, to help people with their skin concerns, beauty and anti-aging treatments. Whether it's a simple question, or an aggressive challenge, Eleni loves to help people of any age feel and look their best. The name Eleni was inherited from a cherished family name. Not only does it hold a special place close to her heart but also signifies and holds the meaning of light. Eleni wanted to incorporate the meaning behind Eleni Med Esthetics and to hope for all to embrace the light in life. We are all created differently and we must hone in on our genetic makeup, dietary habits, climate, medications, hormones, stress, and lifestyle. Eleni's philosophy in skin starts with finding its balance. Healthy skin is beautiful skin. Happiness and beauty exudes from within, and it will always show on the outside...no beauty ritual can surpass that.
