About Edwin S. Porter, DDS
I am most passionate about changing lives through dentistry. Enhancing and restoring smiles to be healthy and beautiful can really change the outlook of a person. I love helping people become healthy, pain-free, and happy with their smile and appearance. The exciting part about work is having a great team that can accomplish tough cases with hard work and dedication. We go out of our way to make patients feel comfortable, special, and like a part of our family. Building relationships are very important in our office. We have several families in our practice that have been here for more than 20 years and continue to send their friends and loved ones to us. We see so many types of people and have bonded with many of our patients over the years. I am a proud native of Charlotte, NC, and have truly enjoyed building my practice and raising my family in such a wonderful community. My wife, Kathy, and I have been blessed with four amazing children and a Great Dane, Bella, to keep us company at home. My family is the most important thing in my life; I love being a supportive dad to my kids and their sports and school activities. In my free time, I enjoy cycling and staying fit, gardening, and being active in the community through church-related charities and missions.
