About Edwin S. Epstein, MD
Edwin S. Epstein, M.D., brought to Bosley an impressive background in the medical field. Dr. Epstein earned his B.A. degree from Duke University and his M.D. from Georgetown University. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Urology, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. After 13 years in private practice, he joined the Chambers Hair Institute in 1990 in Baltimore and Richmond. In 1995, he founded the Stuart Medical Group, and served as the Medical Director there until he joined Bosley in 2006. Dr. Epstein has been practicing hair restoration since 1990. He served on the Board of Governors of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons (ISHRS) from 2004 - 2011, and was elected President in 2009 - 2010. He has lectured nationally and internationally on numerous topics related to hair loss and hair restoration surgery. Dr. Epstein is a fellow of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery, a Diplomate of the American Board of Hair Restoration Surgery, and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is licensed to practice medicine in Maryland, Virginia, Florida, Georgia, Colorado, North Carolina, South Carolina, Michigan, Missouri, Illinois, and California.
