About Edward Farrior, MD
Dr. Farrior is a sixth-generation physician and facial plastic surgeon who has lived and worked in Tampa, FL for most of his life. He has been in practice since 1987 and has operated out of his own surgical center, Farrior Facial Plastic Surgery, since 1995. Due to the complex anatomy of the face, head and neck and its visibility to all, Dr. Farrior has chosen to focus exclusively on facial plastic surgery, including cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. He continually refines his knowledge and skills through teaching and his association with the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (AAFPRS) and the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ABFPRS) and is actively involved in the Tampa Bay community. He is also an active member of the international facial plastic surgery community, contributing his knowledge at major events like the International Symposium of Facial Plastic Surgery. Dr. Farrior attended medical school at the University of Virginia and completed his residency at the University of Michigan. His advanced training in facial plastic surgery was obtained through a fellowship sponsored by the American Academy of Facial and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery with his father, Dr. Richard Farrior. Dual Board Certification through the American Board of Facial and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology confirms advanced knowledge and training in facial plastic surgery.
