About Edward Estrada, DDS
A native Texan, Dr. Edward Estrada grew up in San Antonio, attending Trinity University and the University of Texas Dental School in San Antonio where he received his Dental Degree. In 1981 Dr. Estrada and his wife Linda set up his Dental Practice in Spring and moved his office to The Woodlands in 1999. He and his family have lived in The Woodlands for 20 years. Dr. Estrada was elected President of The Houston Academy of General Dentistry for 2008-2009, served as editor for the organization and is currently on the board of directors. He received his Fellowship with the Academy in 1990 after completing over 700 hours of continuing education and passing a comprehensive exam. The organization’s key goal is to have members stay abreast of all aspects of dentistry through ongoing continuing education. Dr. Estrada has also completed advanced training in cosmetic dentistry through the prestigious Las Vegas Institute (LVI). He is an active member in the Greater Houston Dental Society where he has been a board member and served on the peer review committee. Other affiliations are the American Dental Association and Texas Dental Association.
