About Eduardo K. Moioli, MD
Eduardo K. Moioli, MD, PhD is the newest member of our staff. He is a board certified dermatologist and fellowship trained Mohs surgeon who specializes in skin cancer management and reconstructive surgery. He completed his undergraduate education at the University of Central Florida, and then proceeded to earn his PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Illinois at Chicago. After two years as a Postdoctoral Research Scholar in Regenerative Medicine at Columbia University in New York City, Dr. Moioli returned to Chicago to attend Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine. He completed his dermatology residency at the University of Chicago where he served as chief resident, and gained his initial experience with Mohs and dermatologic surgery under the direction of Dr. Vivek Iyengar. Following his residency, Dr. Moioli went on to complete a prestigious Mohs skin cancer surgery fellowship at the University of Pennsylvania with a strong focus on oncology and reconstructive surgery. He continues to write scholarly articles and book chapters, and also lectures at national meetings. Dr. Moioli speaks English, Portuguese, and Spanish and will be available to treat patients in Palos Heights and Tinley Park. In addition, he will be joining the teaching faculty of the Section of Dermatology at the University of Chicago.
