About Drew A. Shulman, DMD

Drew A. Shulman, DMD, MAGD has been in practice for over 30 years and is a caring cosmetic dentist committed to providing his patients with the latest advances in aesthetic dental care. Continuing education in the latest techniques and technologies is very important to him. He is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support as well as IV Sedation by the Pennsylvania State Board of Dentistry. He has been awarded a Mastership from the Academy of General Dentistry. Mastership is the highest award given by the Academy and has been given to less than 2% of the dentists in the nation. The State of Pennsylvania requires dentists to take 15 hours of continuing education per year. Dr. Shulman has taken over 1200 hours in the last 12 years, of which 125 hours have been in Sedation Dentistry through the Dental Organization of Conscious Sedation (DOCS). Philadelphia Magazine sends out ballots to over 4000 dentists in Philadelphia and the surrounding counties asking them to choose the best dentists in a number of different categories. Dr. Shulman has been chosen by his fellow dentists to be one of the Best Cosmetic Dentists in both 2018 and 2019. He was also voted top dentist in 2019 by the readers of Suburban Life Magazine and Best Dentist by TV Station phl17. Patients have also voted him a multi year winner as the #1 Cosmetic Dentist by PhillyHOTLIST. Dr. Shulman graduated from Muhlenberg College where he received a degree in Natural Science and Mathematics. After college, he earned a Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from Fairleigh Dickinson University School of Dentistry. Following dental school, he gained further training in a General Practice Residency at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center where he served as Chief Resident. When he is not working, Dr. Shulman likes to ski, bike, play golf and spend time with his family. He is married and has 2 sons that live in Boston. His oldest son and his wife recently gave birth to a baby girl.
