About Doris J. Lin, DDS

Doris Lin, DDS, is a skilled family dentist at Fantastic Family Dental in Cambrian Park, San Jose, California. She strives to make a positive difference in her patients’ lives through exceptional service and a trusting patient-doctor relationship. Dr. Lin is the youngest of three girls and grew up in Southern California watching and admiring her father’s dental practice. She was inspired by the impact he had on his patients’ lives and the strong bonds and friendships that resulted from his care. She earned her dental degree from the Indiana University School of Dentistry in Indianapolis, Indiana, and set out to replicate her father’s successes in her own career. In her practice at Fantastic Family Dental, Dr. Lin takes a personalized approach to dental treatments. She recognizes that every patient is unique, and therefore has different dental needs and preferences. In order to give her patients healthy and confident smiles that are uniquely theirs, she takes a collaborative approach to treatment, involving her patients in the decision-making process to ensure the most positive long-term results. Dr. Lin also goes the extra mile to make her patients feel comfortable and relaxed in the dental chair. She enjoys initiating conversations and getting to truly know her patients. A fluent speaker of English and Mandarin, Dr. Lin enjoys connecting with patients from all walks of life. Outside of her work as a family dentist, Dr. Lin dedicates her time to helping the community through volunteer service. One of her most rewarding volunteer experiences was traveling to Ecuador to provide underserved adults and children in rural villages with dental treatments and oral health education. In her free time, Dr. Lin likes to travel with her husband and learn about the world’s many different cultures. They especially enjoy trying unique foods wherever they’re traveling.
