About Donita Abangan, MD
Donita Abangan is a Stanford educated and UCLA affiliated Dermatologist with over 25 years of experience in General and Family Dermatology. Serving our new Sacramento clinics in Roseville, Cameron Park and Placerville, CA. Dr. Donita brings her passion for excellent patient care and the keen awareness that health care delivery requires patient partnership. Her interest in Dermatology began with research at the National Institute of Health in Bethesda, Maryland. There she investigated novel treatments for skin cancers, genetic skin disorders, and disorders of keratinization for over 5 years. Dr. Donita has published several book chapters, papers in prominent Dermatology journals, and posters at the AAD (American Academy of Dermatology). She completed her undergraduate studies at Stanford University, medical school at UCLA, and her residency at one of the UCLA affiliated programs. She is an active member of the AAD and the Society for Investigative Dermatology (SID).
