About Dong L. Nguyen, DDS

Dr. Dong Nguyen (also known as “Dr. Dong” by his patients) has been practicing dentistry for more than a decade! He enjoys interacting with patients of all ages and loves the long-lasting relationship he forms with each of them. Dr. Nguyen always presents the best treatment options to his patients and treats them as if they were his family. Dr. Dong spent his childhood in several states - New Jersey, Louisiana, Massachusetts (Boston), but he mainly grew up in the neighboring city of Santa Clara. He graduated from the prestigious University of California, Berkeley with a Bachelor of Science degree in Integrated Biology. Dr. Nguyen then attended the University of California, San Francisco School Dentistry where he was involved in many community service organizations. After graduating with a Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree, he then completed a one year hospital residency program at the Mare Island Veterans Affairs dental clinic where he received advanced training in Implantology, Endodontics, Removable and Fixed Prosthodontics, Oral Surgery, Pediatric, General and Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Nguyen is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, Santa Clara Dental Society, and NCVAD (Northern California Vietnamese Association of Dentists). He stays up-to-date with the latest advances in Dentistry by attending countless Continuing Education seminars. In his spare time, Dr. Nguyen enjoys watching and playing many sports. Having lived in Boston as a child, he is an avid Boston Celtics, Red Sox, and New England Patriots fan. But he has also grown to love watching the Warriors, 49ers, and Giants. Dr. Nguyen also loves spending time with his family - especially his son. He can’t wait for him to be old enough to take to sporting events.
