About Dominic C. Tam, DMD
Dr. Tam was born in Taiwan. He came to the States at the age of 14, settling in Northern California. Dr. Tam received his Doctoral of Medical Dentistry from Boston University, School of Medicine and graduated with honors. He received further post-graduate training in oral surgery and dentistry at the University of Medicine and Dentistry at New Jersey, Howard University School of Dentistry, Washington, D.C. and University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, Pittsburgh, PA. He has an undergraduate degree from the University of California, Berkeley. Dr. Tam and his wife first visited Phoenix on New Year's Day 2011 and fell in love with the valley. Since then they planned to move out to Arizona. After being in private practice in Pittsburgh, PA, Dr. Tam moved to the Valley of the Sun in August 2012 to establish his practice in Chandler, AZ. In his spare time, Dr. Tam enjoys swimming, biking, martial arts, playing the trumpet, and spending time with his wife, three children and newly adopted dog. Dr. Tam is a member of the American Dental Association, Arizona Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
