About Dipali Thakker, DMD
Dr. Dipali Thakker is passionate about providing quality care for her patients. It is her goal at every patient encounter to ensure that all her patients are treated like her friends and family members. Dr. Thakker was born and raised in Mumbai, India, and she moved to the United States when she was nineteen years old. She has been residing in the metro Saint Louis area since 1997, and she loves being a part of this community. She graduated from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville with a bachelors degree in chemistry and a minor in biology. From there, she went on to study Dentistry at Southern Illinois University School of Dental Medicine in Alton, Illinois and graduated in 2005 with a DMD degree. In 2008, Dr. Thakker opened Thakker Dental Group in Shiloh, Illinois. She is deeply invested in making sure that her practice is a warm, relaxing and technologically advanced dental home for her patients. She frequently attends continuing education courses to remain up to date with the latest techniques and best materials to offer excellent care for her patients. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Thakker enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Her favorite pastime is to play with her son, Ronak, daughter, Riana, and her puppy, Bella. Her hobbies include traveling, hiking, biking, zumba, yoga and swimming.
