About Deepa S. Macha, MD
Dr. Deepa Macha is a highly trained Board Certified physician. She has been a practicing Attending Physician specializing in Emergency Medicine. Dr. Macha was raised in Long Island, New York and attended SUNY Downstate College of Medicine before completing both Emergency Medicine and Internal Medicine Residencies at New York Mount Sinai School of Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center, and Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh. During training and practice over the last 25 years, Dr. Macha has gained tremendous experience and became very adept with complex procedures across multiple medical specialties. She has worked and trained in New York, Pittsburgh, the San Francisco Bay Area, Philadelphia, and now in Michigan. She is settled now in Michigan with her family and has 3 teenage children. Living in Michigan for the last 10 years has been a transition, and she is happy to call it home and bring CosMedic LaserMD to a community she loves dearly. In 2017 Dr. Macha founded CosMedic LaserMD, a Medspa in Ann Arbor, Michigan and is now dedicating her practice to medical aesthetics, specializing in injectables and laser treatments, and medical weight loss as well as traditional aesthetic procedures. She has commited herself to expertise in the use of neurotoxins, dermal fillers, collagen stimulating procedures, and scientifically backed skin care products. Dr. Macha’s desire to pursue Aesthetic Medicine began with a long held interest in health, fitness, and skin care. She has devoted time and training to advance her knowledge and skills in the area of laser skin therapy, non-invasive body sculpting, and facial rejuvenation therapies including the injection of botox and fillers, and rapid medical weight loss. Dr. Macha’s mission is that we all need to nourish our inner beauty and strengthen ourselves from the inside. This is evident with every encounter.
