About Deepa K. Berar, Tattoo Specialist

I’m Deepa Berar, a Microblading and Makeup artist and Indian Youtube Beauty guru from Canada. I recently made the move to San Diego California! LOVE the sunshine, blue skies and ocean and am so, so happy out here. I’ve been a makeup and hair artist for 14 years, getting my start at MAC and soon after working in Television applying makeup on news anchors, tv hosts and celebrities for 10 years. Several years ago I found myself on the other side of the camera, talking about everything beauty on-air and then started my youtube channel. I post about makeup, hair and Deep Beauty, my passion project designed to help you with all the inner beauty stuff. 2 years ago I was hit with Alopecia and lost 70% of my hair. Through a ton of research and experimentation I managed to grow almost all of it back in. I shared this story with my viewers. To my surprise there were tons of people going through the same thing, so I decided to share even more videos with tips to help with hair growth. Going through alopecia changed me forever. I started to think about how I could take my makeup skills and use them in a way to help people on a much deeper level. Enter Microblading! The idea of helping people going through hair loss or alopecia and making them feel beautiful again resonated so deeply with me. I absolutely LOVE permanent makeup and can’t wait to take even more courses and help with things like filling in the scalp, covering scars and more! I’m here to inspire you to live a deeply beautiful life.
