About Deborah Tekdogan, DDS
An Evanston native, Dr. Debbie grew up in a family of doctors and was the second of three siblings to graduate from Creighton University School of Dentistry. She attended Loyola University, and Mundelein College where she received her Bachelors of Science, with a triple major in Pre-Med, Nutrition, and Psychology. Dr. Tekdogan has all the cutting edge tech knowledge. She uses digital x-rays to minimize radiation exposure, laser dentistry for soft tissue surgery reducing trauma to the lesion, as well as, a faster more comfortable healing time. She incorporates use of the VELscope® during oral cancer screenings, allowing early detection before lesions are clinically visible in a patient's mouth. She also administers Botox for treatment of Temporal Mandibular Joint disorder, as well as migraines. Dr. Debbie continues to complete countless hours of continuing education and she has experience in subjects like advanced prosthodontics, anterior esthetics, pediatric dentistry, periodontics and implant restoration. She is certified in Invisalign® orthodontic treatment (clear braces), Botox® and Conscious Sedation, in addition to treating sleep apnea patients, as well as snoring. Her goal is not only to provide a welcoming friendly environment where her patients can address their dental needs; but also to educate her patients. Each member of our professional team understands the importance of providing our patients with great dental care. Dr. Debbie is a standing member of the American Dental Association, Illinois State Dental Society and the Chicago Dental Society. She is also a member of the area Chamber of Commerce and various other civic organizations. In her free time, Dr. Debbie enjoys volunteering at PAWS, Wagging Hearts, and the Anti-Cruelty Society. She has been foster mom to many deserving puppies. She also loves gardening, biking, hiking, and traveling.
