About Deborah E. Barker, DDS
Welcome to our practice! As a general dentist, I bring a great deal of knowledge, caring and enthusiasm to Webster Dental. I believe in a compassionate approach to dentistry, taking the time with each patient to formulate a treatment that best suits the individual’s needs. I am continuously striving for perfection while providing service that is unique to you. I earned both my Bachelor and Doctoral degrees from Northwestern University. I was one of two in my class to receive the highest honor of early graduation, achieving this accolade while completing studies in the honors track of practice management. I was also Chapter President of Alpha Omega, a national academic dental fraternity. I then received additional training from King’s College in London and the University of Colorado in Denver, followed by a General Practice Residency at the Cornell Medical Center in Manhattan. There I trained in the management of emergency orofacial trauma and advanced dental care for the medically compromised patient. In addition to being a dentist, I am also an accomplished musician. Having earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music, I now enjoy singing and playing piano non-professionally. Originally from the Chicago area, I reside with my husband and children in Northbrook.
