About Dean Rohwer, DDS
Chandler Dentist, Dr. Dean Rohwer has plenty to smile about. He has been blessed with a happy family, a strong education, a thriving career, and personal satisfaction from his service to charity and the community. Starting with his family, Dr. Rohwer is a third generation native Arizonan, with a grandmother and father who were born here. His mother, born in Michigan, has lived here most of her life. His older sister is the cofounder of a Wisconsin company that makes tissue arrayers for hospitals, and his younger brother is a pastor in a small community church in Montana. Dr. Rohwer married his high school sweetheart, Holly. She is also native to Arizona. They have two young children, Paige (4) and Jake (1). He balances his life with sports and the outdoors. He continues to play soccer golf and mountain biking to this day, and has traveled most areas of Arizona. Dr. Rohwer graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in biology and used it to gain entrance into the University of Colorado School of Dentistry. (His wife Holly has her bachelor degree from rival Arizona State University.) Dr. Rohwer was awarded the David M Childs Fellowship from the University of Colorado. He received an award for his research in the bonding strengths of dental composites from the Academy of Dental Materials. He quickly became the Chandler Dentist known for his compassion for his patients and those around him. Dr. Rohwer has practiced dentistry in Arizona since 1998. He has had memberships in the American Dental Association, Arizona Dental Association, Central Arizona Dental Association, and American Association of Functional Orthodontics and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. He has completed hundreds of hours of continuing education in all facets of dentistry, but with particular focus on Invisalign, orthodontics, dental implant restoration, and cosmetic dentistry. His upbringing has not let him forget to give back. Dr. Rohwer has donated his time to many charities including the Susan Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, River of Dreams, March of Dimes, Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, Solid Rock Foundation, the Positively Speaking Foundation, Tennies from Heaven, and The Christian Dental Society Belize Mission Project.
