About Dean G. Davis, MD

Dean Davis, MD, is a double board-certified facial plastic surgeon who has been practicing in the Tampa Bay Area since 2001 Throughout his facial plastic surgery career, Dr. Davis has completed thousands of cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. He and his staff use the latest technology and research advances to give patients the best professional, personalized care and treatment. Dr. Davis has received numerous honors and awards for his exceptional level of care. He was named a “Top Doctor” in 2016 and 2017 by Tampa Magazine, given a “Best Doctor” recognition by The Tampa Tribune, and featured in the Tampa Bay Times for the advanced and specialized treatments he has brought to the community. He is also the Official Facial Plastic Surgeon of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Dr. Davis has received top-notch education and training from some of the most prestigious institutions and programs. He graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine. He then completed his surgical residency training at the University of Virginia before relocating to Tampa, Florida for a nationally accredited post-graduate fellowship with the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of South Florida. Dr. Davis also served as a clinical instructor in facial plastic surgery while on staff at the USF’s School of Medicine. After deciding to leave academia and go into private practice, Dr. Davis established Davis Facial Plastic Surgery to provide his patients in the Tampa Bay area with the most advanced and specialized facial surgery care available. That practice has grown to encompass all aspects of facial plastic and cosmetic surgery care ranging from specialized surgery and laser treatments to clinical skin care and minimally invasive injectable treatments. Dr. Davis remains active as a fellow of the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and has been honored to participate as an examiner with the board’s annual certification examination. He has been recognized with fellowship status in the American College of Surgeons as well as the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.
