About David P. Suarez, DO

Dr. David P. Suarez has always believed that if you look good you, can feel even better. He started out as a 10-year-old boy using a 110-pound SEARS weight set. He later became a certified personal trainer, high school athlete and eventually a semi-professional football player. Dr. David P. Suarez was the first in his family to become a physician. The importance of keeping your mind, body, and spirit working together as a single unit and in great health has helpe him to excel in all areas. The doctor graduated from Harry Van Arsdale School of Labor Studies at SUNY/ Empire State College in 1995. He later attended graduate school at the New York Institute of Technology where he took courses in Medical Sciences and Exercise Physiology until 1999. Dr. David Suarez then went to the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine at Midwestern University in Chicago graduating in 2005. He spent his first year of postgraduate medical training doing a traditional rotating internship at Christ Hospital which is part of the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey/School of Osteopathic Medicine in Jersey City, New Jersey in 2006. Completion of his General Surgery Residency Training in June of 2011 was done at Peninsula Hospital part of the New York Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine Education Consortium. Dr. Suarez then chose to go beyond the usual surgical residency training and elected to spend an additional year of cosmetic surgery where he with one of the pioneers of Cosmetic Surgery. His mentor and fellowship director, Dr. Robert F. Jackson has been a board-certified cosmetic surgeon for over 30 years. His Cosmetic Surgery Fellowship was completed in July of 2012 with over 1000 Cosmetic Surgery cases performed. Dr. Suarez’ dedication to continued training and education along with a gift for the art and science of aesthetic surgery allows Dr. Suarez to be a true leader in the field of Cosmetic Surgery. Dr. David P. Suarez has an IAPAM certification in Medical Weight Management. He has also had additional training in Bioidentical Hormone Replacement and Pain Management which also help the patients to look and feel better.
