His expertise and caring treatment for patients of all ages makes him a sought-after family dentist in the Philadelphia area. He finds his career to be rewarding, as helping patients attain and maintain a smile they can be proud of is a wonderful and fulfilling way to spend his life. As a child born and raised in Queens, New York, Dr. Spilkia started his education at The City College of New York. He then later attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, graduating with a degree in 1983. While he began dental practice in New York, he eventually relocated several years later to the Philadelphia area, and began David Spilkia Family and Cosmetic Dentistry, his own private practice in 1988. Since then, he has been able to provide the ultimate in dental care and treatment to patients and their families in the Philadelphia area. Dr. Spilkia continues to offer the care and treatments needed to help patients obtain the smile of their dreams! He currently provides a number of cosmetic and general dentistry procedures and treatments, including dental implants, Invisalign orthodontics, restorative dentistry and smile makeovers. He works with a large staff of dental hygienists and dental providers that assist him in making patients feel comfortable and taking care of their oral hygiene needs. He prides himself in providing high quality care in a state-of-the-art practice with the technologies and tools to help improve and enhance patient smiles. Dr. Spilkia is married with two wonderful daughters. When he's not in the dental office helping patients, he can typically be found playing music (he plays the fiddle, banjo, and guitar!), cooking up meals in the kitchen, traveling around the United States, and playing with his two beloved dogs, McGuinn and Sophie.
