Juvederm Voluma XC is the longest lasting reversible product. This is Dr. Shafer’s favorite product to inject for patients as it’s the thickest of the injectable gels and lasts the longest.

Injectable products are made of several different products. The hyaluronic acid fillers such as Voluma, Juvederm and Vollure are nice in that they are reversible which gives them the best safety profile. The hyaluronic acid products differ in how long they last and how thick they are. Voluma is the thickest product and lasts the longest. Volbella, which is not recommended for SWAG by Dr. Shafer is the thinnest and lasts the shortest. This product is best for lip augmentation.

You do not need to be circumcised. We treat both circumcised and uncircumcised patients.

Dr. Shafer performs 5 to 10 SWAG procedures per week. About 50% of our patients are from out of town and have traveled as far as Australia, China, and Dubai to have Dr Shafer perform the SWAG procedure.

The first 5 syringes are $5000. Every set of 5 syringes is an additional $4500 or $900 per syringes. So if you do 12 syringes it would be $5000 + $4500 + 1600.

The vast majority of patients report either the same sensitivity or enhanced sensitivity and enhanced / thicker erections. We have no studies on semen quality. If you have pre-existing issues such as erectile dysfunction, this is not a treatment for that.

Because the skin must mold itself to new contours following surgery, candidates for liposuction are generally physically active, near their ideal weight and have good skin tone and elasticity. If the skin is thin and loose with poor elasticity, the skin in the areas treated with liposuction will often appear loose. For people who are moderately overweight, liposuction can provide the motivation to lose weight. The best time to have lipo is when weight has been stable for as long as six months. The reason is that a person who has liposuction during a period of weight gain would likely develop fat deposits in untreated areas.

Buccal fat pad removal surgery is an outpatient procedure. The procedure can be performed under general anesthesia. The incisions for the procedure are made along the inside of the mouth so no post-surgical marks should be visible once you have fully recovered. Once the desired amount of fat is removed, the incision will be carefully sutured closed.

Nipple reduction and areola reduction can be performed under local anesthesia or general anesthesia. The incision for nipple reduction surgery is made along the inside of the nipple. A small wedge of tissue may be removed to help reduce the overall size of the nipple. If the nipple has too much projection, the remaining tissue may be tucked in to decrease length. During areola reduction surgery, a portion of the areola is removed by making a donut-like incision. The skin around the areola and the remaining areola tissue are then sutured together. In order to produce natural-looking results, the stitches are made along the natural border of the areola.

A facelift is usually done under twilight/IV anesthesia but can be done under general anesthesia or local anesthesia. The surgery is performed through incisions made in existing skin creases and hair-bearing areas surrounding the ear. The goal is to hide incisions so they are not visible during healing. Minimal or no hair is trimmed from the scalp along the incisions.
