With over 35 years practicing in the field of dermatology, David Rodriguez, MD, is known for his expertise in diagnosing and treating the most complex of conditions. Dr. Rodriguez provides comprehensive skin care and modern aesthetic treatments at Dadeland Dermatology Group in Kendall, Florida. He and his expert team are involved in clinical research studies and stay up-to-date on the latest, cutting-edge dermatological treatments for skin, hair, and nails. After earning his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Illinois College of Medicine in Chicago, Dr. Rodriguez went through extensive patient care training. He completed an internship and internal medicine residency at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago. To further his expertise, Dr. Rodriguez completed a second residency in dermatology at the University of Illinois College of Medicine. During his dermatology residency, Dr. Rodriguez was awarded the Adolph J. Rosenberg Award for research in dermatology. Dr. Rodriguez serves as the medical director for Dermatology Associates & Research in Coral Gables, Florida. He’s also an associate professor in the Department of Dermatology and Cutaneous Surgery at the University of Miami, as well as a staff physician at the Metropolitan and Hialeah Hospitals.
