I was born in Texas but spent much of my early years in Alaska. I began my college career at the University of Alaska with a desire to be a Marine Biologist. My love for marine life developed when I commercial fished for Alaska salmon for six years to pay my way through college. I graduated from Stephen F. Austin with a Bachelor of Science and then went off to the University of Tennessee, where I worked hard and received my Doctor of Dental Surgery.
