About David B. Pharis
Dr. Pharis has been in practice in the greater metro Atlanta community specializing in the surgical treatment of skin cancer and dermatologic surgery since 2001. Dr. Pharis established his solo practice in Duluth in 2010, and he continues to emphasize outstanding patient care in a relaxed and comfortable environment. Patient satisfaction in all aspects of their visit remains Dr. Pharis’ number one priority. Born in St. Louis, Dr. Pharis was raised in a military family in numerous locations throughout the U.S. and overseas. He completed his undergraduate degree at Purdue University with distinction and his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine with highest distinction and was honored as the Debakey Scholar as the top student in his graduating class. After completing an internship in Internal Medicine at Baylor, Dr. Pharis completed his residency in Dermatology at Emory University where he served as Chief Resident and he then completed his Mohs Surgery and Advanced Facial Reconstruction Fellowship at the University of Pittsburgh under Drs. John Zitelli and David Brodland, considered the top Mohs fellowship training program in the country.
