About David Mobley, MD
Dr. Mobley grew up in Lyons, Georgia and still keeps many of his Georgia roots. He graduated from the University of Georgia in 1968 with scholastic honors and then went on to graduate medical school from the Medical College of Georgia. Dr. David Mobley completed his residency in OB/GYN and become board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1977. He initially was in private practice in OB/GYN, but then went back to complete an additional residency in plastic surgery here in Jacksonville. Dr. Mobley has been in private practice in plastic surgery in Jacksonville, Florida since 1980 and has seen many of the changes and trends that have occurred in plastic surgery over the years. His many years of experience and ongoing thirst for new knowledge and technology have made him one of the best plastic surgeons in the community. Dr. Mobley is board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery. He has served as president of the Greater Jacksonville Society of Plastic Surgeons and was previously Chief of Plastic Surgery for Baptist Medical Center. These many attributes add to his reputation as one of the most respected plastic surgeon in Jacksonville.
