About David J. Mann, MD
Dr. Mann launched Medovate, LLC in June of 2019 after leaving his prior partnership. He began his dermatology practice in 2010 following his dermatology residency at the University of Chicago. He grew up in Deerfield, IL and then graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Illinois, where he received the Bronze Tablet. He earned his medical degree from the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine, where he was awarded the Dean’s Scholarship Award—a merit-based, full tuition scholarship. Dr. Mann completed his internship in Internal Medicine through Northwestern University at Evanston Northwestern Healthcare, where he was awarded the Intern of the Year. At the University of Chicago, Dr. Mann published on atypical nevi and was selected to present his research at the American Academy of Dermatology national meeting in 2010. He remains very active with the Chicago Dermatological Society and is now serving as the President-Elect for 2019-2020.
