About David N. Maclin, DDS
I have been a dentist for thirty five years! Over the years, changing someone's smile for the better has never gotten old, and neither has challenging preconcieved notions about the discomfort and annoyance of going to the dentist. My father was a dentist, and after watching him help so many people with their smile as I grew up, it became my passion as well. My education in dentistry has provided me with a strong foundation of knowledge and experience. I attended the University of Illinois at Chicago Circle from 1977-1980. I also attended the University of Illinois Dental College from 1980-1984, earning a Bachelor of Science in Dentistry 1982 and my DDS in 1984. I've enjoyed continuing education in many forms, including journals and online courses from the ADA, the Illinois State Dental Society, Chicago Dental Society and Kenwood Hyde Park Dental Society. I use these resources to stay relevant in the ever evolving world of dental care and technology.
