About David A. Bushore, MD

Bushore, MD, at Balcones Dermatology and Aesthetics, has a keen eye for detail and vast experience in cosmetic, medical, and surgical dermatology. Located in Austin, Texas, Dr. Bushore addresses a full range of skin issues in patients of all ages. At his premier practice, Dr. Bushore treats conditions from skin cancer to spider veins and provides a variety of innovative cosmetic procedures, including platelet rich plasma (PRP) therapy and microdermabrasion. He also created the Austin Natural Look™, which takes each patient's balance, symmetry, and aesthetic into consideration. That leads to a healthy appearance that enhances the patient’s natural beauty. A board-certified dermatologist, Dr. Bushore was born and raised in Knoxville, Tennessee, where he attended the University of Tennessee for medical school and his dermatology residency. In 2003, he relocated to Austin, Texas, and joined Balcones Dermatology and Aesthetics. Dr. Bushore belongs to a multitude of professional organizations, including the American Board of Dermatology, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, Travis County Medical Society, Texas Dermatological Society, Texas Medical Association. He’s also a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology, and he served as president of the Austin Dermatological Society from 2007-2008. When he’s not at the office, he is spending time with his wife and two children.
