About Daniel S. Ring, MD

Dr. Daniel Scott Ring graduated in 1992 from the 6-Year Combined BA/MD Degree Program at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine. After completing residencies in Internal Medicine in Kansas City and St. Louis, Dr. Ring subsequently trained in Dermatology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital at The Washington University School of Medicine and served as Chief Resident in Dermatology in 1998. Dr. Ring earned his Board Certification in Dermatology in 1998 and participates in ongoing continuing education and obtained re-certification in Dermatology in 2008. Dr. Ring focuses his efforts on General and Surgical Dermatology including skin cancer screening, mole evaluation and removal, psoriasis, acne, warts, and contact dermatitis. In fact, Dr. Ring has been somewhat of a pioneer in the St. Louis Dermatology community as the first Dermatologist in the area to treat psoriasis with the XTRAC® laser, incorporate expanded Patch Testing to evaluate Allergic Contact Dermatitis into daily practice, as well as one of most experienced with Laser Hair Reduction and BOTOX® injections for excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis). With newer technology available, miraDry® has become the perfect addition to Dr. Ring’s practice to treat axillary hyperhidrosis. Dr. Ring is also our Cosmetic Dermatology specialist experienced in injections of BOTOX® for Facial Wrinkles and Excessive Sweating, Injection of Fillers (Restylane®, JUVÉDERM®, Radiesse®, and Belotero®) as well as lasers for Hair Reduction and treatment of Facial veins. We also provide an extensive array of Skin Care Products to help with the mission statement of “SKIN: Health, Safety, Beauty™” (SkinMedica®, SkinCeuticals®, Obagi®, Vivite®, Epionce®, Vanicream/Free and Clear®).
