About Daniel Kang, DDS
Pure Dental is a downtown Scottsdale dental office that offers advanced technology from the field of dentistry to our patients, while remaining sensitive to their concerns and fears. Dr. Kang has practiced over 12 years in AZ and provides a wide range of dental services: including cleanings, fillings, restorative dentistry and extractions, as well as cosmetic dentistry such as implants, bonding, crowns, bridges and porcelain veneers, and Zoom. From a multi-cultural background, Dr. Kang was born in Sao Paulo, Brazil. He is Korean and has resided in several cities across the country from Los Angeles to New York. He was an All-American Swimmer and now enjoys playing golf. At New York University College of Dentistry (NYU), Dr. Kang was Class President and earned the Dean’s Award in Excellence in Academics, Leadership and Dentistry while earning his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree. His bachelor's degree was a double major in Biology and Asian Studies at the University of Michigan. Dr Kang is a Clinical Professor at Midwestern University Dental Institute in Glendale, AZ. Dr. Kang proudly serves as Clinical Director for Special Smiles Special Olympics.He was awarded the 2012 MWU President's Award. Dr. Kang is a Board Member of the Arizona Dental Foundation. Member of American Academy of Facial Esthetics.
