About Daniel J. Burton, DDS

A consummate dentist and educator based in Grand Rapids, Dr. Daniel J Burton has been providing his patients with exceptional dental care for decades. Dr. Burton received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit School of Dentistry in 1976. After graduating, he received postgraduate training in different areas of dental care, including restorative and rehabilitative dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, periodontics, oral surgery, and sedation dentistry. He has placed a great emphasis on cosmetic dentistry treating many patients, restoring their smiles and giving them new confidence. Dr. Burton went into private practice in Birmingham on the east side of Michigan where he practiced for over 25 years. At that time he began to pursue another passion to bring his talents to the west side of Michigan where he opened a state of the art dental practice in Grand Rapids in 2006 and is now in the beautiful Women’s Health Center at MidTowne. Dr. Burton’s dedication to educating his patients on the benefits of good dental health has led to a number of honors. The entire office is committed to providing the highest quality of care, putting patients and families first. Dr. Burton continues to be at the forefront of dentistry by offering screening to help identify patients that may be at risk for a sleep-related breathing disorder such as sleep apnea. He offers an alternative treatment option to CPAP in the form of oral appliance therapy for patients with obstructive sleep apnea.
