About Cynthia J. Price, MD, FAAD, FAAP
As a board-certified dermatologist, pediatrician, and fellowship-trained pediatric dermatologist, Dr. Price is dedicated to providing excellent, innovative, and compassionate patient care. She specializes in adult, pediatric, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Her dynamic vision is to provide the highest quality of comprehensive dermatologic care to each of her patients in a warm and interactive environment. Dr. Price grew up in Scottsdale before attending the University of Arizona in Tucson. She graduated summa cum laude with a double major in molecular & cellular biology and psychology and was granted membership into Phi Beta Kappa. She then finished at the top of the 2004 University of Arizona’s College of Medicine class. Next, she completed a pediatric residency at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). Subsequently, she completed a dermatology residency at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital, one of the top dermatology training programs in the country, where she was honored to serve as chief resident. She additionally received advanced training at the University of Miami with a full-year clinical research fellowship in pediatric dermatology. Dr. Price was the principle investigator for a multi-center research trial on infantile hemangiomas, which achieved national recognition. In 2011, she began her career at Linder Dermatology in Scottsdale, which became SkinScience. While working closely with PCA SKIN, her true passion for skin care began. Dr. Price is a national educator, advanced physician trainer, and expert injector for Botox, Juvederm, Voluma, Vollure, Volbella, Kybella, Dysport, Restylane (Silk, Lyft, Defyne and Refyne), Sculptra and internationally for IAPAM (International Association for Physicians in Aesthetic Medicine). She is a spokesperson for the Skin Cancer Foundation and an avid volunteer within the community, speaking locally at Moms on the Move of Honor Health, educating new mothers on their young infants’ skin. Dr. Price has more than 60 publications within the field of dermatology and is an active speaker at national conferences. She is an active member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, the Society for Pediatric Dermatology, and the American Academy of Dermatology. She is an editor and reviewer of many major dermatology journals, staying on top of cutting-edge dermatology research. She is consistently voted Top Docs by her peers. Dr. Price, along with her husband and two sons, is very excited to be practicing in Arizona near her family and close friends. Outside of medicine, she enjoys watching her boys play competitive soccer/baseball, barre workouts, fashion/interior design, and cooking/baking.
