About Cletus A. Fonmedig, DDS
Dr. Fonmedig is a highly trained, skilled and experienced professional with over twenty-two years of experience. After graduating in 1997 with a Dental Surgery degree from the University of Benin in Nigeria, he worked as a dental resident in both Nigeria and at the Catholic Mission General Hospital in Cameroon. Following his residencies, Dr. Fonmedig was in private practice in Botswana for five years. He then went on to post-graduate study in clinical dentistry at the world renowned University of Western Cape College of Dentistry in Cape Town, South Africa. In 2008, Dr. Fonmedig received his D.D.S. degree from New York University College of Dentistry. From 2008 until 2010 he practiced dentistry in Pennsylvania where he was Clinical Director for the Aspen Dental Group in Harrisburg. Dr. Fonmedig has authored seven published papers on clinical dentistry and is a member if the American Dental Association and the Maryland State Dental Association. On a personal level, Dr. Fonmedig is a devoted husband and father of three whose wife is a nurse. He enjoys watching soccer, is a computer buff and a world traveler who speaks many languages.
