Cindy Merrill O’Brien, Licensed Esthetician and former Hollywood Make-Up Artist, has partnered with Awaken, Authentic Chinese Massage Studio in downtown Napa, California. She specializes in the most advanced therapeutic facials customized to your skin type, conditions and budget. The non toxic and organic products she uses are of the highest quality and efficacy in the industry. She uses Eminence, Ilike, Dr. Schwab, PCA, GM Collins and her own line, Cindy Merrill Skincare in her back bar to truly customize your facial experience. Cindy also shares her expertise through make-up lessons and make-up application for special events, weddings and photography. Her style is clean, natural and precise, but she also enjoys creating high fashion looks for her more adventurous clients. Her past clients include, Disney, Fox Sports, Levi Strauss, Pacific Bell, Kraft Foods, Apple, Sony, Universal Studios, MGM, Lucas Productions, Ford, AT&T, Microsoft, Bank of America and EPKs (electronic press kits for movie releases) Pearl Harbor, Atlantis, Grinch Who Stole Christmas and more…. With a Bachelors degree in Textiles and Clothing, she became an Image and Wardrobe Consultant and a Professional Make-Up Artist and Stylist in San Francisco and Los Angeles . As Cindy became more experienced, she soon found that she could make a quicker and more dramatic improvement on her clients' image by working on them from the neck up, i.e. hair, make-up and personal grooming. She loved how pleased her clients were with their new look and enjoyed the creative process. Cindy has committed herself to a lifetime of learning to help people look and feel their best by embracing each person's uniqueness and personal beauty. She continues to expand her knowledge by taking advanced classes in anti-aging, acne, light therapy, holistic health, cosmetic product ingredients, advanced esthetic peels and facial massage. She committed to healthy, effective skin care products with as few parabens and chemicals as possible.
